Notification of Spring Road and Highway Weight Limits

At this time, there are no restrictions; however, we will be reviewing this on a weekly basis until the thaw is complete.

As the frost melts and the ground softens, the roads become more susceptible to cracking and other forms of damage caused by heavy loads. To mitigate this risk, weight limits will be reduced on both primary and secondary roads as necessary. The specific weight limits and affected routes will be clearly marked with road signs.

We kindly request that all drivers and transport companies adhere to these restrictions to ensure the longevity and safety of our road infrastructure. Failure to comply with these limits may result in fines and other penalties.

Updates will be posted to the website or can be received by calling the Town Hall at 262-594-5800.
